Oculis Labs’ Chameleon System protects your monitor against eavesdropping. With Chameleon running, you can read your screen normally, but no one else can. Chameleon protects against the shoulder-surfing eavesdropper as well as opponents using sophisticated TEMPEST–type electronic surveillance.
Chameleon protects critical information, enabling customers to:
• Enforce need-to-know rules at all stages of the information lifecycle
• Control access to classified information in non-ideal settings
• Allow use of classified information in more locations with better security
Oculis customers benefit substantially from:
• Internal protection: reduce insider leakage threats
• External protection: disrupt electronic eavesdropping
• Extended protection to a large number of mobile, and off-base computers
• Cost Reduction: Avoid and reduce costs of building and staffing secured facilities

What is it?
Chameleon consists of a hardware device, and a software application that runs on your existing computer system. Chameleon supports standard computer platforms running Windows XP and Vista, with other platforms to be supported soon. Chameleon requires a USB or Ethernet connection to your computer and standard VGA/DVI video outputs.
For government customers, Chameleon is available in customized configurations with mission-specific content protection profiles.
Oculis fits into existing security architectures as a new layer of protection around data-in-use. Chameleon is a complementary technology that gives CIOs a new tool for executing their data security mission. Learn More
